With a case made in a ultramodern material named Breitlight®, the Breitling Avenger Hurricane radically changes watchmaking.
It is a high-quality watch made to perform at extreme conditions, thanks to the revolutionary use of Breitlight®, a world-first realization on a watch case. Three times lighter than titanium and nearly six times lighter than steel, but significantly harder, this particular high-tech material has a lot of qualities: excellent resistance to scratches, traction and corrosion, it is anti-magnetic, thermal stable and anti-allergic.
This oversize chronograph watch houses the new Manufacture Breitling Caliber B12, a self-winding chronograph with a 24 hour display as is usual in the military and it is chronometer-certified by the COSC (Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres), a mark of superior precision.
With its 50 mm diameter, Breitling Avenger Hurricane watch has a powerful construction completed with lateral protective reinforcements and a total black look lightened by yellow accents and aviation-inspired numerals.
It has a very legible dial enhanced with fluorescent hands and numerals, a thick antiglare sapphire crystal on the two sides and controls fitted with a non-slip grip making sure optimal handling even with gloves.
An exclusive strap mixing a yellow rubber core and a high-resistance black Military textile fiber for sides ensures comfortable wear.
